La California is just a few kilometres from Avignon at the heart of Provence. The Alpilles, Saint Remy de Provence and les Baux de Provence are approximately 20 minutes away, the Luberon visible from the house is half an hour by car. The Camargue and the sea are only 45 minutes away. As for the Pont du Gard, our neighbour, you will discover it in approximately 15 minutes.

Avignon is the heart of the famous wine Cotes du Rhone. Its most famous village Chateauneuf du Pape is visible from your bedroom. A close relative of your hosts is winemaker there and looks forward to being able to welcome you in the cellars of a wonderful estate. You can also easily discover the wines from Vaqueras, Gigondas, baume de Venise, Cairane, Seguret, Rateau, Lirac, Tavel or Coteaux du Luberon or Coteaux du Ventoux…
